Translating the Charter

As part of this campaign, we want to build awareness of the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights. To do that, we need to make the Charter as accessible as possible for those within the motor insurance sector and the wider public.

When it was originally published, the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights was only available in English.

English is not the main language of many people to whom the Charter applies. So as part of our campaign, we will be making translations of the Charter available in different languages.

Our hope is that as the campaign progresses we will be able to add translations of the Charter in more languages.

They will be added to the Charter translations page when they are published.

It was originally developed by COB, the Institute of European Traffic Law (IETL) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
