Catalan & Portuguese translations of the Charter of Road Traffic Victims' Rights are now available

Charter now available in Catalan & Portuguese

One of goals with the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights, is to help make it accessible to people. Afterall, the Charter is designed to apply internationally. It should help road victims in many countries.

For that to happen we need the Charter to be read and understood. We want people of different nationalities to be able to see what it offers and to then embrace its ideals.

Although it was originally written in English, to successfully reach across borders we need to go further. Universal ideals should be available in multiple languages.

To help that process, when we launched this website, the Charter was originally available in five languages – English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

We are delighted to confirm that two more language translations have now been added:

Thanks to our friends in Gabinete Português de Carta Verde (GPCV) for providing us with this text in Portuguese and to the team in Bureau Andorrà – Oficina Andorrana d’Entitats d’Assegurança d’Automòbil for preparing the Catalan language version. We really appreciate the support they have provided, which we hope will help bring the Charter to many more people and ultimately increase its impact.

More translations of the Charter will be added to this site as they become available.
