Coris Greece has become an official supporter of the Charter of Road Traffic Victims' Rights

Supporting the Charter is a “quality mark of care” for the insurance sector – CORIS Greece

Supporting the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights is a quality mark of care for the insurance sector, according to CORIS Greece. The Athens based network of claims adjusters and assistance providers made their remarks as they became the latest organisation to join the list of official supporters of the Charter.

Established in 1991 as a member of the CORIS Association – a fully independent worldwide assistance and claims handling networks – CORIS Greece, is the longest standing international claims handling company in Greece. They provide insurance services and claims handling for both Greek and international markets. CORIS Greece personnel, with their insurance and assistance career backgrounds, together with their experienced operations and claims’ handling staff, bring together expertise and professionalism towards the service of their clients.

The Charter is a system of ideals set up to help the victims of road traffic accidents. It was developed by COB, the Institute of European Traffic Law (IETL) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), inspired by the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It seeks to encourage a standard of care towards victims from all those involved in providing compensation.

Speaking about their decision to endorse the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights, Manolis Pantelidis, Managing Director of CORIS Greece said, “We support the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights, in keeping with our commitment to fair, compassionate, and ethical treatment of victims. Doing so strengthens public trust, aligns with legal standards, and reinforces the company’s reputation for integrity and social responsibility. That’s why we would like to officially add our backing to the Charter’s principles and be advocators for its ideals.

“Supporting the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights and its principles is a quality mark of care within the insurance sector. It is important because it ensures that victims of road traffic accidents are treated with fairness, respect, and empathy, which reflects our core values of integrity and accountability. We believe this commitment will be positively received by our customers and policyholders. It demonstrates our genuine dedication to doing what’s right, fostering trust and confidence in the way we handle every claim,” Mr. Pantelidis concluded.
