Charter support reinforces our principles of responsibility, solidarity and social commitment – Crédito Agrícola Seguros

Supporting the Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights “reinforces our principles of responsibility, solidarity and social commitment”, according to Portuguese insurance provider, Crédito Agrícola Seguros. The Lisbon headquartered company made their remarks as they formally became an official supporter of the Charter, having already been active in promoting the Charter and its values over recent months.

The Charter of Road Traffic Victims’ Rights is a set of ideals which aim to ensure the victims of road traffic accidents receive the best possible assistance.

Inspired by the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it was developed by COB, the Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). It functions as a voluntary code of conduct for all those involved in the compensation of road traffic victims.
